It depends on the species and lifestyle. Horses receive primary influenza vaccination at 6 months of age. Dogs and cats are vaccinated as puppies/kittens with annual boosters. We'll help you with a schedule that suits your animal.
Call us immediately. Remove feed, let the horse stand quietly or walk gently. Do not administer medication without our instruction. Note symptoms, time, and last feeding — this helps us with the assessment.
We come to you — home, stable, or farm in and around Uppsala. You book an appointment, and we arrive with all the equipment needed. Routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, and simpler treatments are done on site.
We recommend a dental check-up once a year. Young horses (2–5 years) and older horses may need more frequent care. Signs of dental problems include difficulty chewing, weight loss, and resistance to the bit.
